Over 7,000 rare diseases affect more than 30 million people in the United States. Many rare conditions are life-threatening, present in a way that’s unique to each individual, and most do not have any interventions at all, much less a cure. So we work directly with organizations researching cutting-edge treatments, drugs and technology — like gene therapy or gene editing — to help them get the funding they desperately need.
